The Dunaj International Dance Ensemble, Inc., based in Southern California, was organized in 1976 by Richard Duree, who is still the ensemble's artistic director. Dunaj's repertoire includes suites of Appalachian, Austrian, Bavarian, Czech, Early Californian, Hungarian, and Ragtime dances. The ensemble, noted for its realistic choreographic portrayals of traditional village dance, has played to audiences all over the Western United States and is availabel for appearances.
