2001 Golf Rules
To ensure the integrity of the handicap system, all golfers must follow the same sets of rules. Below are the rules which all golfers must comply with.
Birdie Hole
- Must golf during scheduled league play on Tuesday night to be eligible to win the birdie hole. If you are in the birdie hole and cannot play Tuesday night, you still must pay.
- Once you pay to get into the birdie hole, you must continue to pay until the birdie hole is won, or you are ineligible to win.
- Once the birdie hole is won, you may enter the birdie hole or quit participating in the birdie hole. You may not enter the birdie hole until after it has been won.
League Rules
- We are playing under winter rules, thus you may roll your ball within a one foot radius. The ball may not be moved into the fairway or onto the green.
- If you hit in high grass on any hole, you must hit out. If you cannot find your ball, take a drop at the point of entry and a penalty stroke.
- If your ball comes to rest in mulch, you are allowed a free drop, one club length, no closer to the hole.
- Putt out.
- If you need to makeup a round, you must have a witness and you must announce your intention prior to making up the round.
- If you golf the night of the league, that score must count for that night.
