Letter from the Director

Dear Friend,

"DUC IN ULTUM!" (Put out into the deep - Luke 5:4) These words ring out for us today, and they invite us to remember the past with gratitude, to live the present with enthusiasm and to look forward to the future with confidence. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

These words from Pope John Paul II's apostolic letter Novo Millennio Ineunte (At the Beginning of the New Millennium) bring encouragement and hope to us in Christ's Youth in Action. As I look forward to the future with confidence, I know the Lord will not fail us in bringing more young people to Him through our activities this summer.

The Summer Mission Household (in Anawim, Montalban, Rizal for men and in Brgy. Libjo, Infanta Quezon for women) can help bring our members into a deep love for the poor as they serve and interact with them in these areas. Click here for more info CYA is also gearing up for the Summer Training Conference in May. With the theme adopted from the Pope's challenge "Do not be afraid to be Saints of the Third Millennium", the talks, the dynamics and other activities are an invitation for everyone to take up this challenge.

As always, your participation in our mission as prayer warriors and action partners are appreciated. I, too, will continue praying that God will give to you in abundance.
