Fayette, Fort Bend, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Jackson,
Lavaca, Nueces, Refugio, Travis, Victoria, Washington, Wharton.

Member of the "Association of Professional Genealogists", National Genealogical Society, German/Texan Heritage Society, Texas State Genealogical Society, The Texas State Historical Association.

I offer research services with a special focus on German immigration and colonizations (1830's - 1860's) in these specific counties: Austin, Colorado, Fayette, and Lavaca.

(1991) 10 year member of Lavaca County Historical Commision. Was the designer of the Lavaca County tree ornament for the Texas Governor's tree in Austin. I wrote the county history for the ornament. I was asked to design this ornament by Mrs. Jean Welhausen Kaspar, member of the Texas State Historical Commission. In January of 1997, the Lavaca County Commissioners' Court appointed me to the Lavaca County Historical Commission for a two year term.

(1992) Recipient of the Honeywell Educational Minigrant based on curriculum I wrote entitled "Class Family Tree".

(1995) Elected Heinsohn Family Reunion President.

(March 1995) Attended Winedale Spring Symposium entitled "The Texas Frontier".

(June 1995) Attended a workshop on genealogical research sponsored by the Caldwell County Genealogical and Historical Society. The speaker was Patricia Law Hatcher, C.G.

(July 1995) Attended a workshop entitled "Introducing Genealogy and Family History into the Classroom", which was sponsored by The Texas State Historical Association.

(June 1996) Completed 40 hrs of training in German-Texan Research, sponsored by The Texas State Historical Association.

(1997) Elected Heinsohn Family Reunion Vice-President.

(1997) Author of "The Kreische Brewery State Historical Park and Monument Hill", published in Spring, 1997 issue of "The Social Studies Texan".

(July 1997) Completed 1.8 c.e. units from the University of Houston - Victoria, entitled "Family Trees and Pedigrees". Instructor: Dr. Martha Jones.

(October 1997) Attended workshop entitled "Cattle Brands, Your Family's Other Signature". Speakers: Doug Kubicek and Brenda Lincke-Fissler, sponsored by the Lavaca County Historical Commission.
