These steps will help you get started on your first day of snowboarding. If you have any doubt about what you will be doing please take a lesson.
  1. Get on flat ground with both feet straped in:
  2. Get on flat ground and strap one foot in and walk around. Keep your weight on your front foot.
  3. Front foot in and try to change direction while sliding. Point with your hand to which way you want to go.
  4. Getting on the lift:Watch other people get on and get off. While getting off lean forward
  5. Learning how to stop: with both feet straped in slide down the hill on your edge first facing the hill, then flip over and do it facing away from the hill.
