Supplies Needed:

What First?

To start you must prepare your snowboard. Examine all damage that has been done to the base. If damage is all the way down to the core of the board then you must fill it with expoxy. It is very important that you leave room for p-tex because that is what the base is made out of. Let the expoxy dry over night.

Repairing

Now it is time to take out the torch and thet p-tex. Heat the p-tex with the tourch on low heat. This will make the p-tex melt. If you are using black p-tex you can light it on fire with a lighter. If you are using clear you have to use the torch or the p-tex will turn black. Do not allow the clear p-tex to catch on fire. Keep the torch on it to get a clear color. Fill the damage area with p-tex and let dry.

Finshing

Take out the razor blade and scrape off all the excess p-tex until is is flat as the base. If gouge the board with the razor blade you will have to start all over again. Now use the sand paper to remove all the excess p-tex thatis left over. Once all that is done you will want to wax you board.
