You need some sort of setup to wax your snowboard. Your board needs to be secure enough so you won't have to hold it will you do all of your work. Most shops have a work bench with a vise or some other setup to hold the board in place. You can use a set of barstools(chairs) and some phonebooks. Don't use anything that you don't want to ruin because it will happen. Also be prepared for wax, p-tex, and other materials to be falling on the ground. So the place place to work wil probably be the garage.

Plug in your iron. the iron need ;to hot enough to melt the wax, but not to the point where it smokes. YOur board should be at room tempature for optium results.
