Top Russian rock band Mumiy Troll release their first English single "Lucky Bride?" in Europe on 20th February 2002. The single has an international flavour as it was recorded and mixed by John Hudson at Mayfair Studios, London, and includes two Club Mixes by Danish duo Filur and a Progressive House Mix by Italians DJ Peace & DJ Sextasy. The CD also features an innovative video by Latvian director and computer artist Viktor Vilks. This is latest chapter in the exciting history of the band that changed the face of the Russian music scene.
From the early days  when they were banned  by the local Communist Party chief and labelled "one of the most socially dangerous bands in the world" to being voted "Best Band of the Millennium", Mumiy Troll have released three chart-topping albums and 5 singles and were the first Russian band to use promotional videos in addition to constant touring. They have insisted on total independence and are guaranteed to consitently surprise even their most loyal fans.
- The very same day that they released their single "The Carnival Is Over" Vladimir Putin took over from Boris Yeltsin.
- Time Out (London) wrote that they "stole the show" when they represented Russia in the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest, writing that they stood out as snakeskin heroes amongst all the taffeta and tuxedos.
- They are rumoured to spend what little spare time they have gliding around the Russian coast in an ex-navy submarine.
Mumiy Troll will be touring Denmark, Greenland, Sweden and Finland to promote "Lucky Bride?" - their second European tour in six months - and prestigious London dates are in the pipeline.

   "Lucky Bride?" - single press-release
On february 20th th first official Mumiy Troll release in English will be available all over Scandinavia.
Since Mumiy Troll's successful participation in The Eurovision Song Contest in Parken, Copenhagen on May 2001, there has been a constantly growing interest in the band. In October 2001 The Trolls did a small tour of Germany and Denmark, and the immediate response from the audience all over was "more"!
All this has been resulted in the CD-maxi "Lucky Bride?" which is the newly recorded English version of the band's big hit "Nevesta?" from their last album "Tochno Rtut Aloe".
The maxi is not only unique because it is the first Mumiy Troll release outside the former Soviet-bloc, but also because of the involvment of some of the best remixers in Europe. London based producers DJ Peace & DJ Sextasy and the rising Danish stars Filur have both contributed stunning remixes of "Lucky Bride?" that bring an up-to-the-minute dancefloor adge to the easily recognised Mumiy Troll sound.
Finally, the maxi - is a multimedia- disc as it also contains an outstanding video, made by Vilks Filma in Latvia. A real must-see! It can be viewed on all relatively modern PC's and Mac's.
