My grandfather, Larry Brink, passed away last September, and my grandmother, Ruth Brink, passed away in 1992. I recently took a memorial visit with my extended family to visit Lakeview, AK, where my grandparents lived from the early 70's to the mid-80's. While in Arkansas my mother gave me three pieces that were carved by Junior Cobb, passed on from my gradparents. Two were the heads of native Americans, a man and a woman, and the third was an owl, which Junior carved with an inscription to my grandfather, reading "To Larry". I just wanted to pass on a message to Junior, letting him know that his work is absolutely beautiful and the pieces have found their way to the mantle above my fireplace, where it seems they should have always been. My grandparents loved Junior's work, and I am quite proud to have his creations in my home. Please pass on my best wishes to Junior, and let him know his art will always be cherished in my home, as a memorial to Ruth and Larry Brink, two of the best people I ever knew.

Interesting site -- looks like you have put some good research hours in. I think there is a mistake with the Amon Brock b. ca 1824 who md. Mahala. I descend from this line and her name was Mahala Patrick, not Wilson.Unless there was another marriage I'm not familiar with?? My search for Attaway families has brought me to your site. My Paternal grandfater was named John Henry Attaway born aug 25, 1889 believed Texas or Louisiana. His father was James Newton Attaway born july 22, 1853 perhaps caddo parish louisianna, I can not find information on James Newton. From reading this site I see the names John Henry and James Newton which makes me think we may be related in the double cousin link. could someone please help me if you have the information. In reading your lineage, I find that the birthplaces of my father, aunts and uncles are wrong. The children of William Henry Brummett (son of Bluford and Nancy Keen Brummett) and Mary Jane Langley Brummett were all born in Arkansas, except Stephen Isaac. William Henry and Mary Jane were my grandparents. Henry Brummett was my father. Grandfather William Henry only married twice--he did not marry Mary Jane Duncan. I hope you can correct this misinformation. Thank you.

Trying to find some information on Webster "Mac" McCown, January 17, 1906-January 26, 1958. He was a Chicago area attorney. Mac married my aunt, Grace Elizabeth Hensley, but I believe he may have been previously married to a woman I show as Lizzie May. I suspect he also had children by this marriage, although he and Grace did not have children. I believe Mac to have been a son of Isaac Jackson McCown and Margaret Jane Phillips. I have some pictures of Mac, including what may have been a college senior picture. Since he died when I was quite young, I have only fleeting memory of him.
