Mars--Glass Wedding


  Miss Lucile Glass, of Yazoo City and Laurel, and Mr. William Rodney Mars, of Philadelphia, Miss., were united in marriage Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the parlors of the Edwards House Jackson, Mississippi. The Rev. R. E. Hough, pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church, was the officiating minister.

  The guests included Mr. Tom Glass, of Yazoo City, a brother of the bride, Miss Maude Lee, of Louisville, Mr. and Mrs. Black, of Millsaps College, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Mars, of Philadelphia parents of the groom, his brother, Mr. Henry Mars, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Pullo, of Jackson, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, Mr. T. M. Davenport, of Jackson, Mr. Allen, of Laurel, Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim, of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Everett, of Jackson, and Mr. Harry Cramer of this city.

  The bride, who is a pretty brunette, wore a smart traveling suit of navy blue with hat to match. Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple left for Chicago where they will spend their honeymoon. Upon their return they will be at home to their friends in Philadelphia, Miss., where the groom is a successful young business man.
