MRS. M. J. EDGAR DIES IN MERIDIAN WED. THIS WEEK
Sister of G.W. and Dr. W. H. Mars of Philadelphia Funeral Thursday


  Mrs. M. J. Edgar, age 78, sister of Mr. G. W. Mars snd Dr. W. H. Mars of this city, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Partin, in Meridian early Wednesday morning.

  Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Methodist church in Union, conducted by Rev. J. L. Carter, pastor of the Fifth Street Methodist church in Meridian and Rev. Sharp of Union. Interment followed in the Union Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were J. S. Luke, J. H. Moore, Harvey James, John Harmon, L. W. Whittle, J. E. Wade and W. A. Jackson.

  Mrs. Edgar was a sister of Mr. George Mars and Dr. W. H. Mars of this city. She is also survived by several sisters, Mesdames G. W. Sansing of Newton; H. L. Austin of Jackson; T. E. Ross and Miss Ida Sue Mars of Hattiesburg.

  The following children survive: Mrs. Fred Partin of Meridian, Mrs. M. L. James, (illegible) Texas; Mrs. B. L. Riley, (illegible) Texas; and two sons E. J. Edgar of Union and J. P. Edgar of Dallas, TX.
