Hello all, I was just browsing the net to try and figure out what my career is going to be. I'm 16 years old and I have been dancing jazz for 6yrs and ballet for 31/2yrs and I took 1/2 a year of flamenco. I have also been apart of of the Enokin Centre(n t sure of the spelling) for 3 or my poems that have been published with 3 volumes. I have also attended their workshops. I really like the idea of native american tours and would hope to be involved with one. I want to explore options and see what I re lly want to do in life. At the moment I am in a play about HIV/AIDS, we are going to be performing for sure in Enderby and Squilax. So if anyone is near by please do check it out. Like I was saying I am exploring options and very determined to make som thing out of the arts. I really enjoyed this page and I do hope that more can be added in the future so we can see what is updated.

I was browsing the net on Native stuff when I came across your website. It's nice to know there are other Native theatres in Canada. I live in Toronto and we have three native theatres in Ontario all of which I have performed with. The theatres are De ba uh mu jig Thearte Co., in Manitoulin Island, Centre for Indigenous Theatre ( Formerly Native Theatre School ) Class of 1993, in toronto, and Native Earth Performing Arts Inc., also in Toronto. I have only worked outside of Ontario when I did a play in Hal fax, N.S at the Neptune theatre, Nova Scotia is originally where I'm from of the MicMac First Nations. I've been acting for six years now but I have decided to put that on hold for I don't know how long so that I can take some more training courses in cam ra and video production. Auditions for Native's down here seem to be really slow or so I gathered from the lack of communication with my present agent who is also my third agent. B.C is a nice place to live, I lived in Comox, B.C for four years and I love it there. I've been to Vancouver many times but never actually lived there because I was just a drifter back then. Anyway, I hope I can audition for you guys sometime in the future. Until then I wish you all the more success in endeavors and keep the spi it alive. Sincerely, Gilbert (Bear) Clements. I went to see your tents and all the things you can see by walking around at your place and I just love it. I just really want to learn your language prefferably the Sioux language, i think that in time, the language will die out. My great grandfather was Sioux and so, I have native blood running through my vains and i am proud of it too. I just want to be able to speak like an Native Sioux.
