RESTORE PRIDE OF CULTURAL HERITAGE
Through the media of theatre, Sen'klip strives to pass the values, the traditions, and the knowledge of the past to the generations of tomorrow. Combining both traditional storytelling with the artistic freedom of contemporary theatre, the company takes this innovative method of teaching to the elementary schools of British Columbia, giving the Native youth a chance to show with pride, the culture that is uniquely theirs.
EDUCATE AND RE-CREATE HISTORICAL AND TRADITIONAL LIFESTYLE DISPLAYS
With the development of Sen'klip's Six Mile Office, Museum and Traditional Summer Encampment, Sen'klip brings the past to life in a format that attracts both tourists, educators, and the local Native population.
DISPLAYS
Researched with the assistance of local Native Elders, and organized under the direction of Sen'klip Theatre's own traditionally trained Ethnobotanist, give perspective to a lifestyle that has all but disappeared over the last century. From traditional foods and herbal medicines, to the distinctive tule-mat tipis of the Interior Salish People, a Sen'klip tour is an education experience for young and old.
SHARE THE LEGENDS, BELIEFS, AND TALENTS
Sharing the cultural knowledge of Native peoples with the general public and special interest groups gives way to increased understanding and co-operation. Understanding is the first step toward bettering the relationship between different cultures.
DEVELOP COMMUNITY SPIRIT AND AWARENESS
Involving Elders from the Native community seeks to give them a focus for the preservation of Native culture through research and restoration projects, as well as encouraging community interaction between Native youth and Elders, decreasing the effects of the generation gap through mutual understanding and respect.
YOUTH MENTORSHIP IN THEATRE
Through on-the-job training, Summer Employment programs and Stay-in-School Initiatives, Sen'klip aids local Native Youth in their preparation for future employment with the emphasis on becoming productive, self-sufficient young adults. Providing life-skills and work experience training makes for a sound investment in the future of society as a whole.

Through focusing on the ever-growing tourism industry, Sen'klip is building on both Local, National, and International tourism opportunities.
